We believe that the geological beds of stone found at Whiteway Quarry have a somewhat niche marketplace. They will not appeal to every individual taste, but we have had a reasonable amount of interest when displayed at the Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show last year, even if there was the occasional comment of ‘ that isn’t Marnhull stone!
Its geological name may suggest that to be the case, however the stone has most definitely been extracted from our Whiteway Quarry and we would welcome people to come along and have a look around to see what has been under their feet for millions of years…
